60 day course completed in a few hours, learnt nothing at all, complete waste of time and money.

Having lots of difficulties to get someone to approve an account and it is very difficult to reach someone at Client Support to help. Sent several emails in the past 24 hrs. and still haven't received an answer (the first emails sent from family members are from 3 weeks ago and they haven't received any answer either). A telephone number and acknowledgement of receipt of emails would be much appreciated.

After having a poor experience, I decided to contact Emma directly and she successfully solved my problem in less than 24 hours. 5 stars for Emma.

This isn't my first time using IOA. but this time I am having serious problems. I have been trying to purchase the 120 hour TESOL course. The website says my payment has been denied yet I have been charged multiple times for the course and still do not have access to the course. Contacting support is extremely difficult.

I found the course, even though on-line to be quite interactive. It was very interesting and informative and assisted me in the learning of this course. I liked the fact that I could stop and then go on at my own pace, in between my current career.

Confusing ''Task'' assignments
I am now doing the TEFL course. But I find the 'Tasks' at the end of each page confusing. For example, a 'Task' question may be: "Have you ever studied a second language? How did you study it?" .... But THEN there is absolutely nowhere to write this task answer! No box, no link, nothing!
Further, there was no help on this problem/subject in the FAQ, and no way of contacting the company.

(PS - You took my REAL and TRUE review OFFLINE, claiming to Trust Pilot that I was 'not a real customer'... I have sent my proof of purchase to Trust Pilot! - And I am posting my review again ... You people REALLY suck, trying to hide anything that may be seen as 'negative')

The TEFL course covers a variety of topics with real practical teaching tips. To provide extra confidence the last unit gives tips on how to write and present your resume. Hopefully giving the new teachers an extra boost in confidence. Blessings!

Great service, studying in my own pace was truly awesome. Good support from the team. Easy to follow instructions,my experience was truly amazing and i would highly recommend this platform to all who want to advance their English language skills.

I had TESOL 120 hours course, very good one. Finished it even faster then 2 months. Got TESOL certificate from International Open Academy immediately after final test and then asked if it would be possible to have a digital ICOES certificate, not a hard copy. Ms.Emma was very friendly and replied that option will be available in the end of August. And yes, in the end of August i was able to order it and to get it on my email address. It was some technical issues, however IOA and Emma are very responsible and fixed everything very fast. So, if you are able to study yourself, the TESOL course from IOA would be perfect.

I took the wildlife rescue and rehabilitation course, overall quite a comprehensive course, could have been 5 stars but it really lacked video documentation which I felt for this course it's a must. otherwise a good course with detailed information. need to improve on the quiz section wherein to add more questions and increase difficulty.

I'd bought TEFL course and completed it couple of weeks ago, received the certificate but couldn't find the place where I could check if my certificate was valid by the number written on it. Yesterday, I bought TESOL course expecting an original course based on what they say about TESOL, and the course Is EXACTLY the same as TEFL, nothing changes. I would like a refund for the price I paid (for nothing) on the TESOL course.

It is a pleasure to leave a compliment and my rating of The International Open Academy. The platform where one works is efficient, simple and very practical. I got prompt support from the Academy through e-mails which solved all my issues. I just have fun learning here and would recommend it to anyone.

All the courses are pocket friendly. I have taken Teaching English online course. Content of the course is to the point and interesting. Emma Jones (customer service provider) is responsive in responding and solving student problems.
Would surely recommend teachers and students to go for teaching online course.

TEFL course was very useful and helpful. But I am mainly writing this review to let everybody know that it took 27 days to deliver my ICOES certificate to South Korea (via the cheaper non-tracking option), so be patient and good luck everyone ^^~

first and foremost, I would like to thank the page where I inquire and who explained everything to me, from the very start to the end, thank you for answering every questions I asked. This course gives opportunities to every ESL teacher to pursue their career abroad, and hopeful to be one of those teacher to get job and be hire international. This is just the beginning. If you'd like to get a legit international certificate for teaching abroad, IOE is right in. The course content they offer is short but concise. Everything is easy to access, and staff quickly respond to inquiries. It helps me revisit and refreshed what I've learned in the past. Moreover, it offered me new learnings as a teacher.
